Plexvia Voice

Now the phone answers too.

Plexvia Voice gives your business a phone number and answers it with the same assistant that already handles your website chat and your email. Calls arrive in the same inbox, draw on the same knowledge, and follow the same access rules.

Coming soon in Canada and the United States.

You cannot buy a number today, and nothing on this page is available to switch on yet. What is described here is built. What is not finished is the rollout: a phone line is a regulated service, and it opens one country at a time.

Canada and the United States, first

Those are the two countries Plexvia Voice opens in. We are not announcing a date or other countries yet.

An add-on, not a new plan

Voice will sit on top of a paid plan, with a business number and a monthly minute allowance, plus packs for more.

Nothing to wait for today

Set up your knowledge, your inbox and your team now. Voice joins what you have already built, rather than replacing it.

When someone calls

Every call reaches the right place.

A call arrives on your number and Plexvia decides where it goes: by who is calling, by which of your lines they rang, and by whether you are open. Inside hours it can ring a person, a role, a team or a queue. Outside them it can answer, take a message, or offer to call back.

  • Route by caller, by line, and by your opening hours
  • A short menu can send a caller straight to the right team
  • Ring one person, everyone at once, or whoever has waited longest
  • A caller can keep their place in the queue and hang up

The assistant on the line

The same assistant, now speaking.

Voice does not get a second, separate robot. It uses the agent you already configured, with the same instructions, the same guardrails and the same access level, so a caller hears the answer your website would have given.

  • Answers from your own sources, and says when it does not know
  • Knows your hours, your locations and what you sell
  • Tells callers it is an assistant, in words you write
  • Brings in a person the moment one is needed
Are you open on Sunday, and do you take walk-ins?
Plexvia

We are open 11am to 4pm on Sunday, and walk-ins are welcome until 3pm. After that it is appointments only.

From: Opening hours and appointments

Plexvia only answers from your sources, and never invents a promise.

Reaching a person

A name becomes a phone that is actually ringing.

Ask for Sarah, or for whoever is on reception, and Plexvia works out which of her phones she is on right now and rings that one. If she cannot take it, the call moves to the next thing you chose instead of to a dial tone.

  • Desk phones, mobiles, the computer app, or an outside number
  • Shift assignments and opening hours decide who is eligible
  • Announce a transfer first, or put it straight through
  • Nobody free? A queue, a message, a callback, or back to the assistant

Every call, on the record

Nothing is lost when the caller hangs up.

A colleague who was not on the call can read what happened in under a minute. Transcripts are written by default. Recording is off until you turn it on, and when you do, the caller is told before it starts.

  • A written transcript of each call, speaker by speaker
  • A short summary of what was asked and what was agreed
  • Recording off by default, with a spoken notice when it is on
  • Search your calls by what was actually said in them

Call with Rosa M.

Summary

Rosa asked to swap a jacket for a medium. Maya confirmed stock and posted it with a prepaid return label. Rosa expects it by Friday.

Caller: Do you have it in a medium?

Maya: We do. I can post it today with a return label.

Calling out

Call a customer without handing out a mobile number.

Press call in Plexvia and it rings your own phone first, then the customer, showing your business number. No personal line is ever exposed, and the do-not-call list is checked before anything dials.

  • Call from Plexvia on whichever phone you are already using
  • The customer sees your business number, not yours
  • A do-not-call list automation cannot talk its way past
  • Queue callbacks placed for you, at the time the caller asked for

A caller can keep their place and hang up. Plexvia rings them back.

Why it belongs here

A phone system would be a seventh tool. This is not one.

Voice reuses what Plexvia already holds about your business, so turning it on adds a channel rather than another thing to keep in step.

One inbox, now with calls in it

A call becomes a conversation beside the chats and the emails, not a separate log in a separate tool.

Answers from your knowledge

The assistant on the phone reads the same sources it uses on your website, so both give the same answer.

Your team, as it already is

Routing points at people, roles and teams you have already set up, not at a second list of extensions.

Your opening hours, once

The hours on your business profile are the hours a call is routed by. Change them in one place.

Your products and locations

Prices, stock questions and where you are come from your own records, so a caller is not told the wrong branch.

The same access rules

Who can hear a recording, read a transcript or place a call is decided by the access levels you already use.

Numbers and setup

Getting a line, and what running one asks of you.

A business phone number is a regulated service, so there is a little more to it than a switch. Here is the whole of it, in advance.

Choose your number

Search by country and area code, or for digits you want in it, and pick from what is free. One number is included with Voice; you can hold more.

One person is named responsible

Someone at your business verifies their identity once and confirms they are responsible for the line. It takes minutes and is not repeated per number.

Each line has a service address

The address a dispatcher would be sent to if somebody dialled emergency services from that line. It is checked before the number goes live.

Then it behaves like the rest of Plexvia

Routing, hours, queues and who can do what are set where you already set them, and calls appear in the inbox everyone uses.

Voice will be sold as an add-on to a paid plan, with a number and a monthly minute allowance included, and packs for more minutes, more numbers or text messages. See the plans it sits on

Coming soon in Canada and the United States

We will say so here and on the pricing page the day it opens. Until then, the rest of Plexvia is live and free to start.

Plexvia is ready now. Voice is next.

Build your knowledge, your inbox and your team today. When Voice opens in Canada and the United States, it joins what is already there.
